Land Arrangements will be priced in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated.

Pricing does not include guaranteed early check-in at listed hotels unless otherwise stated in itinerary. Normal hotel check-in can range between 2pm-4pm.


Pricing does not include guaranteed late check-out at listed hotels unless otherwise stated in itinerary. Normal hotel check-out can range between 10am-12pm.


Deposit for Land Arrangements:


$1,800CAD per person deposit for cruise & land package is due at time of booking.


Final Payment for Land Arrangements: 

Balance is due by September 06, 2022.



Cancellations due to COVID-19 related government imposed travel restrictions:

  • In the event that this group departure is cancelled due to a COVID-19 related government imposed travel restriction and final payment has been made, we will do our best to secure refunds for unused travel arrangements, where possible. Suppliers reserve the right to provide a Future Travel Credit in the event of a cancellation due to COVID-19.  South Pacific Journeys cancellation penalty is $350CAD per person for any and all cancellations.


All other Cancellations:

  • September 5th 2022 or earlier - $800CAD per person penalty
  • September 6th 2022 – October 5th 2022 - $2500CAD per person penalty
  • October 6th 2022 – October 20th 2022 - 35% of full fare penalty
  • October 21st 2022 - November 4th 2022 - 60% of full fare penalty
  • November 5th 2022 or later - 100% of full fare penalty


There is no right to a refund for any unused services EXCEPT in the event that your travel destination imposes entry restrictions due to COVID-19.  In this instance, if final payment has been received, South Pacific Journeys will endeavor to secure refunds for all unused land arrangements. Refunds received less the non-refundable deposit will be returned to the original form of payment. 


Cancellations must be advised in writing. The date of cancellation will be the first weekday date, excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays, that South Pacific Journeys receives the written advice.



Amendments to Land Arrangements: 

Unfortunately, changes are not permitted with this land & cruise package.  If you would like to arrive early, or extend your stay South Pacific Journeys can provide you with a quote for additional land arrangements.


Important Notice: Pricing is based on current foreign currency exchange rates and is subject to change until such time final payment is received. In the event that the foreign currency exchange rates increase by more than 7% between the time a deposit is received and when final payment is due, South Pacific Journeys reserves the right to amend the final cost of the land arrangements. Once final payment has been received, all land pricing is guaranteed. This is in accordance with current TICO Regulations.


Passports:

All passengers are required to travel with a passport valid for six months beyond their return date.


Travel Insurance:

South Pacific Journeys requires that all travellers be adequately covered for Trip Cancellation/Trip Interruption as well as Out of Country Emergency Medical (including COVID-19). Proof of insurance coverage will be required by the time final payment is made, preferably at time of booking.  South Pacific Journeys reserves the right to deny travel to guests who are not adequately covered.


Travel Restrictions:

The following tool will provide current restrictions for travel between countries. Please input your departure country, your destination country, your travel date and the nationality of the passport you hold.

Visas:

Australia: You will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority to enter Australia.  This ETA is valid for three months.  If approved, the ETA will be valid for up to 2 years, will be valid for multiple visits with a maximum length of stay of 3 months.  South Pacific Journeys may be able to facilitate the application process by issuing the ETA in office. Australia ETA applications are currently suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.  We generally issue ETAs approximately 60 days prior to departure.  South Pacific Journeys cannot be held responsible for any ETA applications that are delayed or not processed by the Australian Government.  If we are unable to issue the ETA in our booking platform, the traveller will be responsible for completing the ETA application on line (fees apply and will be the sole responsibility of the traveller).


New Zealand: You will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authority to enter New Zealand.  This ETA is valid for three months.  If approved, the ETA will be valid for up to 2 years, will be valid for multiple visits with a maximum length of stay of 3 months.  The New Zealand ETA can only be obtained online at https://www.immigration.govt.nz.  Fees will apply and are the sole responsibility of the traveller).  New Zealand ETA applications are currently suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. For Australia only holidays where your international flight routing is via New Zealand, you will be required to obtain a New Zealand ETA to transit through New Zealand.


South Pacific Journeys' Responsibility:

South Pacific Journeys and Vision Travel Solutions act as agents for their clients in all matters pertaining to travel. They assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, taxi, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will they be responsible for any act, error or omission, or any injury, loss accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger; or for any hotel proprietor, or hotel service, or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or wellbeing of the passengers, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event, during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the Airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the Airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline or accept or retain any passengers as members of the tours. South Pacific Journeys and Vision Travel Solutions or agent can assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons. South Pacific Journeys and Vision Travel Solutions or agent shall not be liable for any claims, losses, injury, death, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labour disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods, acts of terrorism, or the threat thereof, force majeure, quarantine, epidemics, or the threat thereof, attacks or bites by animals, pests or insects, the lack of appropriate medical care, sickness, evacuation, criminal activity or travel restraints imposed by government authorities. In addition, guest holds South Pacific Journeys and Vision Travel Solutions or agent harmless from its own negligence and assumes all risk thereof. Travellers are urged to regularly review the important information provided by the Canadian Government regarding international travel at www.travel.gc.ca.
